iPhone 5 Launch in this September

A worker at China Mobile, China's state run mobile carrier which officially offers the iPhone in China, claims that Apple is indeed releasing the iPhone 5 in September. China Mobile has had an outstanding partnership with Apple and is bound to take it to new heights.

It is also being reported that Tim Cook, the COO at Apple has been having meetings with the higher ups at China Mobile, possibly to discuss on terms related to the iPhone 5 release. Previously, it has been rumoured that Apple may push back launch of the new iPod line up in September and may release iPhone 5 along with iOS 5.

The China Mobile worker posted this news on a Twitter like microblogging service, Weibo. However, the post was later deleted. While the legitimacy of this source can be questioned, the post being deleted within hours of getting noticed is bound to make the rumour mill churn.

Up till now, we have heard rumours that the iPhone 5 will have a dual-core A5 processor with an eight megapixel camera and dual LED flash. Let's see if Apple really does release the iPhone 5 this September.
